In 1961 an IBM 704 became the first computer to sing, in a demonstration of Bell Labs' newly invented speech synthesis -- and the song was "Daisy Bell".
When Hal 9000 is being shut down in the movie "2001 a Space Odyssey, it sings the song taught to it by it's creator....
